We are a small and highly experienced team of aviation professionals; including ex-pilots, former airline managers, flight operations personnel and technology specialists, each with more than 20 years of experience in their respective fields.

1988
Anglo European starts life as the corporate flight subsidiary of a pan-European industrial group, flying company personnel between the group’s European offices.
1991
Headquarters are moved to Humberside Airport (UK) and the company begins operating charter flights for North Sea oil industry clients in addition to the regular flights needed by its parent group.
1994
Our business model is extended to include brokerage services, allowing us to begin offering flight solutions to clients across continental Europe.
1999
We become one of the first charter brokers in the world to move on-line. Our site went live in March 1999 and saw us begin to arrange flights across the globe. Leveraging cutting edge technology to better serve our business and customers has remained a core part of our culture ever since.
2000
The new millenium sees us completing our first short term wet lease contract, supplying a medium range narrow-body aircraft to a Middle Eastern airline.
2001
We secure our first contract with US Space Agency NASA to carry their astronauts to and from Baikonur cosmodrome in what became our most prestigious contract of that year.
2001/2
We arranged the very first civilian Christmas charter flight to Freetown following the end of Sierra Leone’s civil war, flying expatriates and members of the president's family home for Christmas.
2002
We beat all previous year's passenger records thanks to a diverse set of charters using the Boeing 747 that see us transport thousands of passengers to Canada, the USA and Asia. Clients include religious groups, cruise line passengers and football fans on their way to the FIFA World Cup in Japan.
2004
We secure our first general sales agency with a Scandinavian leisure carrier to market their fleet of narrow body airliners exclusively to our tour operator clients in Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and France.
2006
We organise a series of last-minute flights using several inter-contintental aircraft to carry thousands of supporters from Mexico to the FIFA World Cup in Germany.
2007
A team building trip for a high profile corporate client sees us arranging a complex charter deep into the arctic circle, our most Northerly operation to date.
2008
Anglo European is recognised as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the UK thanks to a string of blockbuster years and the growing global reach of our business.
2009
The move puts us at the centre of our European customers and enables us to attract multi-lingual charter professionals to support our international client base and growth.
2011
As general sales agents for a Scandinavian carrier, we establish scheduled routes between Sweden and the Middle East.
2013
2013 sees us begin to offer business support services to start-up airlines. Services include route analysis, flight ops support and pre/post launch sales and marketing activities.
2015
We successfully contract our first wet leases to Asian carriers, helping our European airline partners generate more revenue for their fleets during the European Winter months.
2018
Now in business for longer than most airlines, this year sees us celebrating three decades of safe flying and service to the industry. We would like to thank all of our clients and partner airlines for helping us reach this milestone.
